(a) This chapter shall apply to a housing development project that submits a preliminary application pursuant to Section 65941.1 before January 1, 2030.(b) This chapter shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2034, and as of that date is repealed.(c) It is the intent of the Legislature in enacting this section to ensure that a housing development project that submits a preliminary application pursuant to Section 65941.1 before January 1, 2030, remains subject to this chapter after January 1, 2030.(Amended by Stats. 2022, Ch. 427, Sec. 16. (SB 1489) Effective January 1, 2023. Repealed as of January 1, 2034, by its own provisions. Note: Repeal affects Chapter 12, commencing with Section 66300.)
