There is hereby created a regional planning district in each of the regional areas designated by the Council on Intergovernmental Relations for the purposes of this chapter after a public hearing within the region. No county, city and county, or city shall be divided in determining the boundaries of a regional planning district.(Amended by Stats. 1974, Ch. 544.)
