The city selection committee organized in each county within a district pursuant to Article 11 (commencing with Section 50270) of Chapter 1 of Part 1 of Division 1 of Title 5 shall meet within 60 days after the date upon which the district becomes operative for the purpose of making the first appointments to the district board as prescribed in Sections 65063.1 and 65063.3. Succeeding appointments to the board shall be made by such city selection committees as required by this chapter.(Repealed and added by Stats. 1972, Ch. 1232.)
