If the legislative body or advisory agency determines that engineering or land surveying conditions are to be imposed on a tentative map or a parcel map for which a tentative map was not required, those conditions shall be reviewed by the city engineer, city surveyor, county engineer or county surveyor, as appropriate, to determine compliance with generally accepted engineering or surveying practices.(Added by Stats. 1989, Ch. 847, Sec. 11.)
