68107. A court may order a criminal defendant upon whom a fine, forfeiture, or penalty is imposed, to disclose to the court his or her social security number in order to assist in its collection. That social security number is not a public record and shall not be disclosed except for collection purposes.(Amended by Stats. 1992, Ch. 635, Sec. 2. Effective September 14, 1992.)
