The county clerk shall, on or before the first day of each calendar month, transmit to the county treasurer all money paid to him pursuant to this article during the preceding calendar month, or up to the day immediately preceding the day on which he transmits such money, and such money shall be deposited in the salary fund of such county.(Added by Stats. 1955, Ch. 1589.)
