70045.11. In lieu of the compensation provided for in Section 69948, the Board of Supervisors of Sutter County may, with the approval of the presiding judge of the superior court, contract with official court reporters, and reporters pro tempore, for the superior court with respect to the fee for reporting testimony and proceedings in contested cases, per diem, and traveling and other expenses, which shall be a proper county charge.(Added by Stats. 1988, Ch. 3, Sec. 2.
