In a county with a population of over 32,000 and under 33,000, as determined by the 1960 federal census, each regular official reporter shall receive as full compensation an annual salary of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) unless the board of supervisors of the county shall by ordinance provide for compensation in excess of that amount, in which event the amount set by ordinance shall apply.(Amended by Stats. 1971, Ch. 496.)
