(a) A superior court shall not pay a sheriff for court security services and equipment, except as provided in this article.(b) Subject to the memorandum of understanding described in subdivision (b) of Section 69926, the court may pay for court security service delivery or other significant programmatic changes that would not otherwise have been required absent the realignment of superior court security funding enacted in Assembly Bill 118 (Chapter 40 of the Statutes of 2011), in which the Trial Court Security Account was established in Section 30025 to fund court security.(Added by Stats. 2012, Ch. 41, Sec. 32.
