(a) On or before January 1, 2026, the Judicial Council shall conduct a court interpreter workforce study and provide recommendations to the Legislature regarding court interpreter availability and the future court interpreter workforce.(b) The Judicial Council shall work in collaboration with key stakeholder groups, including exclusively recognized employee organizations representing court interpreters and trade associations representing independent court interpreters.(c) The report to be submitted pursuant to this section shall be submitted in compliance with Section 9795.(Added by Stats. 2023, Ch. 556, Sec. 19.
