85204. 'Election cycle,' for purposes of Sections 85309 and 85500, means the period of time commencing 90 days prior to an election and ending on the date of the election. For purposes of the Board of Administration of the Public Employees’ Retirement System and the Teachers’ Retirement Board, 'the date of the election' is the deadline to return ballots.(Amended by Stats. 2010, Ch. 633, Sec. 11.
