65. The department, either independently or in cooperation with any person or any county, state, federal, or other agency, to the extent that funds are available therefor, shall study and report upon problems of beach erosion and means for the stabilization of beaches and shoreline areas.(Added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 1428.)
