66.1. Where the department is the construction agency, the city, county or other public agency acting in cooperation with the department in the construction of any federally authorized beach erosion control project shall transmit funds representing its share of the costs to the department for deposit in the State Treasury in advance of commencement of construction work.(Added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 1428.)
