§ 738

738. (a) Each violation of a section or subdivision of a section of this article, excepting Section 709, is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), provided that a violation committed willfully and with knowledge of the provisions of the violated section or subdivision is punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one year, or by both that fine and imprisonment.(b) Each violation of Section 709 is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one year, or by both that fine and imprisonment.(Amended by Stats. 2009, Ch. 610, Sec. 36.
