1156.5. (a) The executive director shall serve at the pleasure of the board and shall be under the direct supervision of the board. The term of office to which the executive director is appointed is five years.(b) The Secretary of Business, Transportation and Housing, or his or her designee, shall act as the executive director during the absence from the state or other temporary absence, disability, or unavailability of the executive director, or during a vacancy in that position.(Amended by Stats. 2008, Ch. 567, Sec. 11.5.
