1253. A petition that is submitted on the basis of a notice of intent to petition filed less than 18 months after the effective date of a pilotage tariff adopted pursuant to Section 1278 is untimely. However, if a petition is filed as a joint petition of at least two of the parties to the previous pilotage tariff hearing process and no other new intervenors present themselves in opposition to the joint petition, the petition shall be timely regardless of the effective date of the previously adopted pilotage tariff.(Added by Stats. 2022, Ch. 769, Sec. 16.
