§ 6051

6051. The first board shall be elected at the election for the formation of the district, and the two candidates for commissioner receiving the highest number of votes shall hold office until the expiration of four years from 12 o'clock noon of the first Monday after the first day of January of the odd-numbered year next succeeding the formation of the district, and until their successors are elected and qualified, and the candidates for commissioner receiving the third, fourth and fifth highest number of votes shall hold office until the expiration of two years from 12 o'clock noon of the first Monday after the first day of January of the odd-numbered year next succeeding the formation of the district, and until their successors are elected and qualified.(Amended by Stats. 1941, Ch. 997.)
