The auditor of the district shall hold office during the pleasure of the board of election, and it shall fix his salary and require him to file a bond for the faithful performance of his duties in such amount as it may determine. The bonds shall be filed in the office of the board.(Enacted by Stats. 1937, Ch. 368.)
