7101. In such case the board of supervisors of the county in which the district is situated shall, at its next regular meeting, appoint to the positions of directors those persons nominated, and the person shall qualify, take office, and serve exactly as if elected at the general district election.(Added by Stats. 1959, Ch. 1598.)
