The district may acquire by eminent domain any property necessary, convenient or useful to the exercise of its powers, but may exercise the power to acquire property outside the district by eminent domain only with the consent of the governing body of the county, or city if any, in which the property is located.(Amended by Stats. 1975, Ch. 582.)
