§ 7340

7340. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this part, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is for any reason held invalid, the validity of the remainder of this part, or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby. The Legislature hereby declares that it would have passed this part, and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, be held invalid.(Added by Stats. 1959, Ch. 1598.)
