§ 103800

103800. Any person who willfully makes or files or causes to be made or filed a false certificate or affidavit under Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 102525) is guilty of a felony. The subject is also liable to the State of California for a civil penalty in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000). The civil penalty may be recovered in an action filed by the Attorney General in any court of competent jurisdiction. A penalty so recovered shall be paid into the State Treasury to the credit of the General Fund.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 4. Effective January 1, 1996.)
