When the State Registrar deems it necessary, he or she shall report cases of violation of any of the provisions of this part to the district attorney of the county where the violation occurred, with a statement of the facts and circumstances; and the district attorney shall forthwith initiate and promptly follow up with the necessary court proceedings.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 4. Effective January 1, 1996.)
