102440. Notwithstanding Sections 102425 and 102430, the department may transmit to the Social Security Administration the information necessary to issue a social security number to a child in a case where the child’s parent has requested the issuance pursuant to paragraph (14) of subdivision (b) of Section 102425.(Amended by Stats. 2005, Ch. 430, Sec. 4.
