102767. (a) When a voluntary declaration of parentage is rescinded pursuant to Section 7575 of the Family Code, an application may be submitted to the State Registrar requesting that the signatory’s name be removed from the child’s birth certificate.(b) Upon receipt of the application and payment of the required fee, the State Registrar shall establish a new birth certificate for the child in the manner prescribed in Article 1 (commencing with Section 102625), if the original record of birth is on file in the office of the State Registrar.(Amended by Stats. 2018, Ch. 876, Sec. 74. (AB 2684) Effective January 1, 2019.)
