In any case involving an infant under the age of one year where the gross autopsy results in a presumed diagnosis of sudden infant death syndrome, the coroner shall, within 24 hours of the gross autopsy, notify the local health officer, as defined in Section 123740.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 4. Effective January 1, 1996.)
