104175. The Legislature finds and declares that decades after the war on cancer was declared, it remains an insidious killer of Californians. Simultaneously, cancer absorbs millions of dollars from California’s economy through health care costs, and takes an horrendous toll on the personal lives of citizens.(Added by Stats. 1997, Ch. 756, Sec. 1.
