The department and the committee may use the following criteria to evaluate the potential for rehabilitation or actual rehabilitation of a person prior to denying, suspending, or revoking registration.(a) The nature and severity of the act, crime, or violation under consideration as grounds for denial, suspension, or revocation. (b) The time that has elapsed since commission of the act, crime, or violation. (c) The extent to which the applicant has complied with any terms of parole, probation, restitution, or other sanctions imposed upon the applicant. (d) Evidence of rehabilitation or lack of rehabilitation of the applicant. (Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 1996.)
