(a) The board shall implement this chapter pursuant to the adoption of a policy handbook that is not subject to the requirements of Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340) of Part 1 of Division 3 of the Government Code. The policy handbook shall be posted on the board’s Internet Web site.(b) Any regulations that have been promulgated pursuant to this chapter are repealed effective upon adoption by the board of the policy handbook.(c) This section shall become operative on July 1, 2014.(Repealed (in Sec. 77) and added by Stats. 2014, Ch. 35, Sec. 78.
