(a) On and after October 15, 1978, no person shall manufacture in this state a saturated chlorofluorocarbon not containing hydrogen for use as an aerosol propellant in a can, canister, or other container. (b) On and after December 15, 1978, no person shall manufacture in this state any can, canister, or other container that is intended to utilize an aerosol propellant chemically composed, in whole or in part, of a saturated chlorofluorocarbon not containing hydrogen. (c) On and after April 15, 1979, no person shall sell in this state any can, canister, or other container that utilizes an aerosol propellant chemically composed, in whole or in part, of a saturated chlorofluorocarbon not containing hydrogen. (Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 415, Sec. 6. Effective January 1, 1996.)
