Section 1-13-707 - Inducing defective ballot

Any person who causes any deceit to be practiced with intent to fraudulently induce a voter to deposit a defective ballot so as to have the ballot thrown out and not counted upon conviction shall be punished as provided in section 1-13-111.Amended by 2021 Ch. 462, § 29, eff. 3/1/2022.L. 80: Entire article R&RE, p. 434, § 1, effective 1/1/1981. This section is similar to former § 1-13-133 as it existed prior to 1980. 2021 Ch. 462, was passed without a safety clause. See Colo. Const. art. V, § 1(3).
