Section 10-23-107 - Unlicensed practice - penalties

A person who acts or attempts to act as a professional cash-bail agent or cash-bonding agent and who is not registered as such under this article 23 commits a class 2 misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the court shall require the person to disgorge any profits from acting as a professional cash-bail agent or cash-bonding agent and forward the profits to the state treasurer, who shall deposit the moneys in the general fund.Amended by 2021 Ch. 462, § 118, eff. 3/1/2022.L. 2012: Entire article added with relocations, (HB 12-1266), ch. 1522, p. 1522, § 41, effective July 1.
