Upon request by the department of public health and environment pursuant to section 25-52-104(5)(e), an insurer offering a policy of medical malpractice insurance shall provide the department with information regarding the insurer's policies related to labor and delivery services.Added by 2021 Ch. 433,§ 1, eff. 9/7/2021.Section 12 of chapter 433 (SB 21-193), Session Laws of Colorado 2021, provides that this section takes effect only if section 25-52-104(5)(e) as enacted in section 5 of SB 21-194 (chapter 434) becomes law and takes effect either upon the effective date of SB 21-193 or SB 21-194, whichever is later. SB 21-194 became law and both bills have an effective date of September 7, 2021.
