Section 12-10-101 - Definitions

As used in this article 10, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Director' means the director of the division of real estate.(2) 'Division' means the division of real estate.(3) 'HOA' or 'homeowners' association' means an association or unit owners' association formed before, on, or after July 1, 1992, as part of a common interest community as defined in section 38-33.3-103.Added by 2019 Ch. 136, § 1, eff. 10/1/2019.Subsection (1) is similar to former §§ 12-61-702 (7) and 12-61-902 (3); subsection (2) is similar to former §§ 12-61-702 (8) and 12-61-902 (4); and subsection (3) is similar to former §§ 12-61-101 (1.2) and 12-61-401 (2.5), as those sections existed prior to 2019, and the former § 12-10-101 was relocated to § 12-110-101.
