Section 12-10-226 - Powers of commission - injunctions

The commission may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction for an order enjoining any act or practice that constitutes a violation of parts 2 and 5 of this article 10, and, upon a showing that a person is engaging or intends to engage in any such act or practice, an injunction, restraining order, or other appropriate order shall be granted by the court regardless of the existence of another remedy therefor. Any notice, hearing, or duration of any injunction or restraining order shall be made in accordance with the provisions of the Colorado rules of civil procedure.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-61-122 and amended by 2019 Ch. 136, § 1, eff. 10/1/2019.Amended by 2017 Ch. 264, § 25, eff. 5/25/2017.L. 83: Entire section added, p. 590, § 6, effective April 26.
