(1)(a) It is unlawful for any person to use or attempt to use: (I) As the person's own, a diploma from a dental college or school or school of dental therapy or dental hygiene, or a license or license renewal certificate, that was issued or granted to another person; or(II) A forged diploma, license, license renewal certificate, or identification.(b) It is also unlawful for any person to file with the board a forged document in response to a request by the board for documentation of an applicant's qualifications for licensure.(2) It is unlawful to sell or offer to sell a diploma conferring a dental, dental therapy, or dental hygiene degree or a license or license renewal certificate granted pursuant to this article 220 or prior dental practice laws, or to procure such diploma or license or license renewal certificate: (a) With the intent that it be used as evidence of the right to practice dentistry, dental therapy, or dental hygiene by a person other than the one upon whom it was conferred or to whom the license or license renewal certificate was granted; or(b) With fraudulent intent to alter the document and use or attempt to use it when it is so altered.Amended by 2022 Ch.
