Section 12-240-109 - Child health associates - scope of practice

On and after July 1, 1990, any person who, on June 30, 1990, was certified only as a child health associate under the laws of this state shall, upon application to the board, be granted licensure as a physician assistant. The practice of the person shall be subject to sections 12-240-107 (6) and 12-240-113; except that the practice shall be limited to patients under the age of twenty-one.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-36-106.5 and amended by 2019 Ch. 136, § 1, eff. 10/1/2019.L. 86: Entire section added, p. 639, § 9, effective July 1.
