(1) An optometrist licensed under this article 275 may advise the optometrist's patients of their option to have the symptom or purpose for which a prescription is being issued included on the prescription order.(2) An optometrist's failure to advise a patient under subsection (1) of this section shall not be grounds for any disciplinary action against the optometrist's professional license issued under this article 275.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-40-109.7 and amended by 2019 Ch. 136, § 1, eff. 10/1/2019.This section is similar to former § 12-40-109.7 as it existed prior to 2019.
