(1) The responsibility for enforcement of this article 280 is vested in the state board of pharmacy, which is hereby created. The board has all of the duties, powers, and authority specifically granted by and necessary to the enforcement of this article 280, as well as other duties, powers, and authority as may be granted by statute from time to time. Except as otherwise provided to the contrary, the board shall exercise all its duties, powers, and authority in accordance with the 'State Administrative Procedure Act', article 4 of title 24.(2) The board is a type 1 entity, as defined in section 24-1-105, and exercises its powers and performs its duties and functions specified by this article 280 under the department and the executive director.(3) Parts 1 to 3, 5, and 6 of this article 280 are repealed, effective September 1, 2030.
