Section 13-21-112 - Ad damnum clauses in professional liability actions

In any professional liability action for damages, the ad damnum clause or prayer for damages in any pleading shall not recite any sum as alleged damages other than an allegation that damages are in excess of any minimum dollar amount necessary to establish the jurisdiction of the court.L. 77: Entire section added, p. 803, § 1, effective May 26.
