Section 13-90-201 - Legislative declaration

The general assembly hereby finds and declares that it is the policy of this state to secure the rights of persons who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind and who consequently cannot equally participate in or benefit from proceedings of the courts or any board, commission, agency, or licensing or law enforcement authority of the state unless qualified auxiliary services are available to assist them.Amended by 2018 Ch. 303,§ 2, eff. 8/8/2018.L. 87: Entire part R&RE, p. 570, § 1, effective April 23.
