Ask AI about this
Sections 14-13-110, 14-13-111, and 14-13-112 shall apply to cooperation and communications among courts in proceedings under this article.L. 2007: Entire article added, p. 768, § 1, effective May 14.OFFICIAL COMMENTIt is possible, even likely, that abduction situations will involve more than one state. Thus, there is a need for mechanisms for communication among courts, for testimony to be obtained quickly by means other than physical presence, and for cooperation between courts in different states. Sections 110, 111, and 112 of the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act [sections 14-13-110, 14-13-111, and 14-13-112, C.R.S.] provide mechanisms to deal with these issues. States that do not have the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act may want to include these provisions or use some similar provision of existing state law.
