Section 15-15-216 - Community property and tenancy by the entireties

(1) A deposit of community property in an account does not alter the community character of the property or community rights in the property, but a right of survivorship between parties married to each other arising from the express terms of the account or section 15-15-212 may not be altered by will.(2) This part 2 does not affect the law governing tenancy by the entireties.L. 90: Entire article R&RE, p. 915, § 1, effective July 1.
