Section 16-13-312 - Violation of injunction

Any violation or disobedience of any injunction or order issued by the court in an action to abate a public nuisance shall be punished as a contempt of court by a fine of not less than two hundred dollars nor more than two thousand dollars; but the court may treat each day on which the violation or disobedience of an injunction or order continues or recurs as a separate contempt and may impose a fine, in addition to the fine provided in this section, in an amount not to exceed five hundred dollars per day.L. 72: R&RE, p. 264, § 1.
