As used in this part 5, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Credibility disclosure notification' means the notification described in section 16-2.5-502 (2)(c).(2) 'Law enforcement agency' means a state or local agency that employs peace officers.(3) 'Peace officer' means a peace officer as defined in section 24-31-901 (3) and includes an officer, reserve, volunteer, or employee who performs a law enforcement function.Added by 2021 Ch. 420, § 1, eff. 9/7/2021.L. 2021: Entire part added, (SB 21-174), ch. 2784, p. 2784, § 1, effective September 7. 2021 Ch. 420, was passed without a safety clause.
