(1) A gun show promoter shall post prominently a notice, in a form to be prescribed by the executive director of the department of public safety or his or her designee, setting forth the requirement for a background check as provided in this part 5.(2) Any person violating the provisions of this section commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.Amended by 2021 Ch. 462, § 354, eff. 3/1/2022.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 12-26.1-104 and amended by 2018 Ch. 8, § 5, eff. 10/1/2018.L. 2018: Entire part added with relocations, (SB 18 -032), ch. 152, p. 152, § 5, effective October 1.
