§ 19-2-5-401

As an alternative to a petition filed pursuant to section 19-2.5-502, an adjudicatory trial pursuant to part 9 of this article 2.5, or disposition of a juvenile delinquent pursuant to section 19-2.5-1103, the district attorney may agree to allow a juvenile to participate in a diversion program established in accordance with section 19-2.5-402.Renumbered from C.R.S. § 19-2-704 and amended by 2021 Ch. 136, § 2, eff. 10/1/2021.L. 2021: Entire article added with relocations, (SB 21-059), ch. 589, p. 589, § 2, effective October 1.This section is similar to former § 19-2-704 as it existed prior to 2021.
