Section 2-2-327 - Annual address to joint session by tribal governments

Each year, the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives shall invite the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, through a representative designated by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe tribal council, and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, through a representative designated by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe tribal council, to give an address to a joint session of the general assembly. The president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives, and the representatives designated by the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and Southern Ute Indian Tribe shall jointly determine the date and time of the address on an annual basis.Added by 2022 Ch. 82,§1, eff. 8/10/2022. 2022 Ch. 82, was passed without a safety clause.
