No attorney-at-law practicing law in the state of Colorado who is a member of a private law firm with which a district attorney, assistant district attorney, or deputy district attorney is associated may defend any person or persons who are being prosecuted by a salaried staff member of the office of said district attorney; nor may any such salaried staff member defend any person or persons who are being prosecuted in any judicial district in the state of Colorado.L. 59: p. 382, § 4.
