Section 22-94-101 - Definitions

As used in this article 94, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Department' means the department of education created and existing pursuant to section 24-1-115, C.R.S.(2) 'District' means a school district, a group of school districts, or a board of cooperative services as defined in section 22-5-103 (2).(3) 'Licensed teacher' means a teacher licensed pursuant to article 60.5 of this title 22.(4) 'Program' means a quality teacher recruitment program created by a vendor through a contract with the department.(5) 'Vendor' means a for-profit or nonprofit organization.Amended by 2021 Ch. 246, § 20, eff. 9/7/2021.Added by 2013 Ch. 236, § 12, eff. 5/17/2013.L. 2013: Entire article added, (SB 13-260), ch. 1145, p. 1145, § 12, effective May 17.
